Two ways to keep the record close.

The Firing Line is our journalism home. The Monthly Signal is our monthly guide to Barking Justice Radio. They serve different purposes and use separate subscriber lists.

Joining one list does not automatically add you to the other. Subscribe to the reporting, the monthly radio newsletter, or both.

02 · Listener connection

Tell us what you heard.

Criticism is welcome. So are corrections, questions, program ideas, technical problems, story tips, and a few honest sentences about where the signal is landing.

We use your name and email only to process this message and any permission you give us.

03 · Carry the signal

Two ways to partner with Barking Justice.

We work with organizations, civic groups, independent publications, podcasts, and community projects whose work strengthens public understanding, dignity, accountability, and democratic participation.

Paid support

Segment Sponsor

Support a specific Barking Justice Radio program through paid sponsorship. Sponsors receive clearly identified on-air acknowledgment and agreed digital placement. Sponsorship never determines our reporting, conclusions, music, guests, or editorial priorities.

Reciprocal promotion

Civic Signal Partner

A Civic Signal Partnership uses a Civic Swap. You introduce your community to Barking Justice Radio and The Firing Line. We introduce our audience to your mission-aligned work through agreed on-air or digital placements.

Mission fitWe review the public value and factual integrity of the work, not just audience size or budget.
Specific exchangeEach side agrees in advance to the message, channel, placement, timing, and duration.
Editorial independenceNo sponsorship or Civic Swap purchases coverage, changes our conclusions, or guarantees endorsement.

Civic Signal Partnership details

We review mission fit before requesting detailed audience statistics or additional materials.

What is a Civic Swap?

A Civic Swap is the defined exchange inside a Civic Signal Partnership. Each side agrees to a meaningful way of introducing its community to the other’s work. The exchange may include an on-air acknowledgment, newsletter introduction, Substack recommendation, website placement, podcast mention, member email, or social campaign.

Does sponsorship influence Barking Justice reporting?

No. Sponsorship supports the signal. It does not purchase coverage, determine conclusions, select guests, shape music, or control editorial priorities.

Does a Civic Signal Partner need a large audience?

No. We consider mission fit, public value, audience relevance, and whether each side can make a specific and meaningful commitment. Audience size alone does not determine acceptance.

Need a different doorway?
